I have taken the liberty of providing you with attachment photos
regarding the receipt of books we sent to Congo, last year and
their distribution.
The books were given to Mwandu secondary school and IEM
Nyankunde (a paramedical training school where Dr Remy Toko was
Medical Director before the war in 2002).
As shown on the photos, teachers and students were very happy to
receive these books since English language is one of their major
subjects in secondary schools and through these books a problem
has been solved if not totally at least partly.
In white uniforms are IEM students, and in white and blue are
Mwandu secondary school students. Without uniforms are teachers
except the people unloading the books from the car on pictures
032 and 033. On the photo 038, Mr Wachan, Director of the IEM is
standing in the middle watching carefully the books with a
thankful heart. On the picture 036, Sister Kaswera is watching
the books with the English teachers of the school.
On the behalf of the beneficiaries, I would like to thank
everyone who was involved directly or indirectly in the
collecting and shipping of the books to DR Congo.
